Uses an online bar coding tag system by
My Consignment Manager. This system allows you to enter and print tags, track your sales during the event and print reports following the event of items sold, unsold and donated. You decide the price, decide if you want it to go half price during half price day and if you want to donate unsold items.
Follow these simple steps to use the online bar coding system.
2. The first time you go onto this site you will need to create your account ( you will need your Penny Pinching MAMAs consignor # to do this). To obtain a consignor number you will need to go to online, sign up from our website to be assigned a consignor number. This number will be your number for as long as you are in the database system.
3.. Enter & print your tags for your seasonally appropriate clothing & other items. You will also be able to track your sales online during the event.
ALL TAGS MUST BE PRINTED ON WHITE OR LIGHT COLORED PLAIN CARD STOCK! (40 LB OR MORE)
WALMART HAS WHITE OR MULTI COLORED STOCK
Please don't use dark paper like green/red/dark blue
PLEASE DON'T TAPE OVER THE BARCODES AND MAKE SURE YOUR TAGS ARE READABLE AND THE BARCODE IS SHARP! IF BARCODE IS NOT CLEAR THEN THE SCANNER WILL NOT SCAN AND IT HAS TO BE HAND ENTERED AND THAT CAUSES PROBLEMS.
You will need the following items to tag your items: card stock or heavy paper, plastic hangers, 1 inch safety pins, Ziploc bags and box tape . Your clothing items need to be hung on hangers, prior to arriving at drop off.
Please follow these tagging guidelines
All Seasons will be accepted for the Fall 2016 event. ( All seasons of sports and school uniforms will be accepted as well). Clothes must be hung on appropriately sized hangers with the hook pointing to the left and the tag on the right shoulder if you are facing it (Make a question mark with the hanger.) Your clothing items need to be hung on hangers prior to arrival at drop off location. We do no provide hangers.
Please try to pin your items on the seem of the garment and do not staple your tags.
Children's clothing sizes 4 and under should be on child size hangers. We recommend using additional safety pins to secure your small children' s items to the larger hangers.
$2.00 Rule if your single, hanging clothing item can't bring $2.00 on it's own, please pair it with something that will bring it to this amount. This only applies to hanging clothing. Spending a little extra time getting your items ready will mean more money $$$$ for you. Items that are clean, ironed, and loose threads clipped, sell much better!!
LOOSE ITEMS: like bibs, cloth diapers, bottles, bows, socks etc. must be in clear ziploc bags with the tag attached to the outside of the bag with a safety pin or tape. Blankets sell better if they are hung over a pant hanger. Use clear Packing tape for securing the bags closed. This prevents "STICKY" hands from reaching in. Please tape or pin the tag to the outside of the plastic for easy removal.
Shoes must be in excellent condition to be accepted for consignment. They must be clean and in excellent or like new condition. Shoes must be tied in pairs by shoelaces or ribbon. Laces and shoes must be in clean condition. Attach a tag with a large safety pin or tie the tag on with ribbon. Please do not leave shoes in the shoe box. Shoes are easily separated from the box. Be PICKY on shoes. If you wouldn't purchase them, please do not bring them to the sale.
Must be in working order (batteries included) and cleaned recently. If the item requires batteries and doesn't have them, the item will be removed from the sales floor.
Small parts should be bagged and taped to the main part very securely. Use HEAVY packing tape. Others will not hold. If parts get separated, it will not sell.
Games and Puzzles should have all pieces and be tied or taped closed. Several small items can be grouped together in ziploc bags (books, rattles, grab bags or small toys). Please list all items on tag.
We will only accept NEWER name brand Stuffed animals. Disney, Gund, Build A Bear etc. We will also accept used animated animals. ( Elmos, Doras, etc).
BAND/MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS must be in working order and in cases. All loose items belonging to instrument, sheet music etc must be in ziplock bags, and attached to the instrument.
Please, you must secure ziploc bags with packing tape so that pieces do not get lost.
We accept clean equipment including: strollers, high chairs, swings, exersaucers, bouncy seats, play gyms, pack and plays and bassinets and Carseats less then 5yrs. If equipment requires a battery, they must be included. Furniture and room decor sells really well. Please don't overlook your twin beds, cribs, changing tables, toddler beds,chest of drawers, lamps and bedding.
Large toys and outdoor play equipment must be clean, free of dirt and water. Mr. Clean magic erasers work well on these items. Must include all pieces. These include brand names such as Little Tikes, Step One etc.
Multi-Piece Item Tagging Instructions:
For items with multiple separate pieces, put a tag on EACH piece. Fill out the first tag as normal but include " 1 of X", where X is the number of pieces. On all of the other tags, write your consignor number, the description, and "2 of X", "3 of X" etc.
DO NOT write the price on any tag except the first! Only use multiple tags for separate pieces; do NOT use multiple tags for items that are attached together.
